Our first single-vineyard Cabernet Franc ever. Comes from a very special part of the Beamsville Bench in Niagara. The warm summer of 2020 allowed us to make a beautiful richer, more full-bodied style Cabernet Franc. It was also a warm and dry fall which allowed us to hang the fruit longer than we usually do. The combination of these factors gave great maturity, which in turn has allowed us to make this beautifully elegant but rich Cabernet Franc.
The wine spent 30 days on the skins, gently basket-pressed and then spent 18 months in French Oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered and with our usual low sulphur levels. A true testament to a great vintage and a beautiful terroir.
